onica Cunningham was born and raised in the Nashville Community. She is a product of the Metro Nashville school system, graduating from Glencliff Comprehensive High School in 1995. From high school, she continued her education at Middle Tennessee State University where she obtained her Bachelor Degree and Masters Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Severe/Profound disabilities.

Mrs. Cunningham has worked in the Metro Nashville school system for seven years teaching students with many different levels of disabilities. Mrs. Cunningham enjoys seeing the eyes of her student light up when a concept she is teaching is understood for the first time.

In her spare time, Mrs. Cunningham enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. As a family, they enjoy spending spare time with extended family and friends.

Mrs. Cunningham looks forward to teaching at Cane Ridge High School and helping to establish school traditions that will last a lifetime.
