Melissa Harkreader is the Smaller Learning Communities Site Coach at Cane Ridge High School. Mrs. Harkreader is working with administrators, teachers, support staff, district personnel, community leaders, parents, and students to implement wall-to-wall academies at Cane Ridge High School. Prior to her SLC Site Coach position, Mrs. Harkreader spent 17 years as a Career & Technical Education teacher in Business Technology. She began her teaching career in Maury County, Tennessee in 1991, but has spent the past 14 years teaching in Metro Nashville Public Schools at Hunters Lane High School and John Overton High School. Mrs. Harkreader is a 1987 graduate of Antioch High School and has a B.S. (1991) and an M.B.E. (1994) from Middle Tennessee State University.
