Piper Wade was born in Nashville, TN, spending most of her life in the South Nashville community. She is a product of Metro-Nashville Public Schools, and a graduate from Glencliff Comprehensive High School. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in December of 2000, after majoring in Special Education with a minor in English K-12, and a concentration in Learning Disabilities and Behavior and Emotional Disorders. She also recently earned her Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University.

Mrs. Wade believes that it is important to be a life-long learner; therefore, she is currently working on her Doctorate in Education applications. Her goal is to receive her Doctorate in Education in 3-5 years.

During her spare time, Mrs. Wade enjoys reading, singing, watching movies, walking, hiking, shopping for antiques, and spending time with her family and pets.

Since Mrs. Wade has been in the Nashville are all of her life, she has witnessed a remarkable growth in the Nashville area, and feels that it is important to prepare her students for a rapidly changing and diverse society. Also, she believes in preparing them for transition from high school to their post high school endeavors.

Mrs. Wade dedicates her teaching career to the teachers who influenced her, the past administrators she has worked along side, and her parents who made everything possible.
