Ms. Renita Daniels is a native of San Diego California and has been living in Nashville for One Year. She has been working for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools as a Library Clerk since February 2008.
She has served the Inner Cities of San Diego County since 2000. Her first experience working with the community was as an After School Program coordinator for 4 years with the YMCA of San Diego County. Later she had the opportunity to work with the National City Public Library and their W.O.W. Mobile, a ground breaking Book Mobile that still services that community today.
She is a former student of Literature and Writing at California State University.
She plans to further her education with a Social Work degree from Tennessee State University.
Ms. Daniels is the daughter of Rev. Richard Daniels a Baptist Minister in Sacramento California, and Regina Smith a retired San Diego County Probation Officer. She has a five year old son.
Ms. Daniels is extremely eager to get to know the community of Cane Ridge High School. She believes that working with youth and families is the most rewarding experience anyone could be involved with.
