Sheila Hunt, Library Clerk

Mrs. Hunt is a 1983 Graduate of Fairview High School, in Cullman Al. where she received All-Area in Volleyball her junior year. She was noticed this same year at the Tournament for serving 15 straight serves without a return. She played volleyball three years on the varsity team, cheered five years, played basketball three years and played softball for 12 years. After she was married in 1985, her and her husband had two wonderful children. Her children are, Cecily 19 and Chad 16. After having her children Mrs. Hunt went to Wallace State Community College, Cullman Al., where she received her Associates Degree in Child Development. She taught Pre-school while she was attending college and she taught Head Start for seven years. Mrs. Hunt was cheerleader sponsor for her daughter’s squad for two years as well as helped coach softball and her son’s baseball team for a couple of years. May 2003, Mrs. Hunt moved to Nashville when her husband’s job moved him. She wanted to stay in Pre-school so she got a job at Tomorrow’s Leaders Pre-School for a year. She then left there and worked in an office for two years and realized that she missed the students. This is when she put in for Library Clerk at Antioch Ninth Grade Academy and got the job. She worked there for two years and will now be the new Library Clerk for Cane Ridge High School. She is very excited about the new school and has a lot of hope for its future and the students.
